Yes. Coastline Lanka Travels Pvt Ltd is a locally owned tour operator and travel agency in Rajagiriya, Colombo, licensed by Sri Lanka Tourism, and our drivers are certified by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.

A tour operator plans and runs the trip with its own drivers and team; a travel agency may plan and book trips or resell other operators' tours. We do both: we design your trip and operate it ourselves, so there's no reseller margin.

Private drivers, personal tour drivers and chauffeur guides, tailor-made tours, and holiday, honeymoon, couple and family packages, from day trips and airport transfers to two-week island tours.

A private driver starts from $45 a day for the whole car, a chauffeur guide from $55 a day, and 7-night holiday packages with hotels from $599 per person. Entrance fees and most meals are extra.

Yes. Every trip is driven by our own SLTDA-certified, English-speaking drivers with 8+ years' experience. We introduce your driver by name and phone number before you arrive.

Not for driver bookings: you pay your driver at the end. For packages that include hotels, a small deposit confirms the booking once you're happy with the itinerary.

At least 48 hours ahead for a driver, and 6–8 weeks ahead for packages in peak season (December–March) to secure the best hotels. Shoulder months usually need 2–4 weeks.

Yes, every visitor needs an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) applied for online before travel. Since 25 May 2026 the 30-day tourist ETA is free for citizens of 40 countries, including the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
